Vietnam

Hello I have just been to Vietnam. The first city I went to was Hanoi.

In Hanoi I saw these things:
· A really cool water puppet show.
· A cool bus tour to see sights.
· Ho Chi Minhs palace.
· There was crazy traffic.

Halong Bay

Next I went to Halong Bay and I got to sleep on a boat. On the boat I did some Karaoke with my mum, we sang Mamma Mia and Money Money Money.  I got off the boat at a small island and I saw Surprise Cave.  It was really interesting.  We also went to a floating fishing village and we went swimming in the ocean, it was very cold.

The bus ride was 4 hours which was very long and I felt a bit sick.

Hoi An

Our flight to Hoi An was delayed by 2 hours.  They had yummy snacks at the airport.  It was almost time to leave, we hoped on the plane to Hoi An and got our transfer to our 5 star hotel.  I shared a room with Samuel.  They had a nice pool, Samuel and I went for a swim.  It was a bit refreshing.  We all got clothes made as they have lots of tailors in Hoi An.  We had a small boat trip and Dad got to throw a fishing net.  We visited a few temples and had a cyclo ride while Mum and Dad walked.

Vinpearl island

We travelled to Nha Trang on a sleeper train.  It didn’t leave until 11pm.  Some Vietnamese people stole our cabin and we had to get the conductor to kick them out.  When we got in it was really stinky and the sheets were not clean.  Mum and Dad were not impressed.  We travelled by speedboat to get to the island.
At Vinpearl island they had:· A water park.  I loved the rainbow slide.  There was a family slide, which I really liked.  Samuel was too short to go on most of the rides but Mum got him on the family ride.
· Visited an aquarium.  I saw stingray and sharks going across me like Kelly Tarleton’s.
· Amusement Park, they had Dodgems and a scary ride where you go upside down.  I didn’t go on this.
· Clown Show was interesting to watch.
· Went to the beach and had a sand castle competition.  Samuel and mine was the biggest and Ben and Matthew Turner had the best decoration.
· Kids club was a cool place for kids to hang out but I thought they should have a big kids area.
· The Vietnamese food was really good with really nice puddings.

Ho Chi Min City

Ho Chi Min City and Cu Chi tunnels was very very cool. I will tell you this, there was a small tunnel too. There were even planes that shot bombs and big guns.
Next I went to the market for a look.  Dad was really good at negotiating the prices.

Samuel got a sore hip so he couldn’t walk.  As soon as we got home we all went to the Doctors and she said he had a virus in his hip and he needed to rest.  Samuel is not very good at resting as when we gave him Ibuprofen he would start running around so Mum stopped giving it to him.
